The Village
Gordon’s Bay is a harbour village on the False Bay coast with superb sea views looking across to the world famous Table Mountain. Just 30 minutes from Cape Town International Airport, Gordons Bay is the perfect base for exploring the Western Cape. Our scenic coastal drives have been voted the best in the world and are particularly popular for whale watching during the months from July to November.
Gordons Bay has many excellent restaurants and pubs, and plenty of shops along the beach road. For the more adventurous we offer, a wide variety of exciting outdoor adventures and sports. So Gordons Bay self catering accommodation is the perfect holiday for you.
The Beaches
Gordon’s Bay offers safe swimming for kiddies and excellent tanning for sun worshippers. Take a stroll along the shore line by following our wonderful coastal path which meanders all along the coast and under the shady Milkwood trees. Secluded beaches with great boulders are fabulous for kids to scramble on.
Bikini Beach was recently awarded international Blue Flag status for its consistently pristine conditions. Picnic areas are available for great family fun and rock pools will keep the young entertained for hours on end.
